Faces Of Schizophrenia is both a speaking and music event. This is Students With Schizophrenia‘s first public outreach event in New York City, and we are so excited about announcing our collaboration with Fountain House. This event will focus on the three stories of three individuals who have schizophrenia. The purpose of this event is to put a face to the diagnosis of schizophrenia and to shatter the negative and harmful stereotypes often associated with this mental health condition. Together, we can change the face of schizophrenia. This event is open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided.
