Michelle Hammer and My Hero 360™ donate to Fountain House Gallery!
Mental health doesn’t always get the attention it deserves — which is why what Hero Philanthropy is doing is so refreshing. In a recent My Hero 360 video, they donated $5,000 to Fountain House Gallery in NYC, helping people living with mental illness connect, create, and share their art with the world.
The video features Rachel Weisman, Gallery Director, and artist Issa Ibrahim, who talk about how these programs give members a space to be themselves, build confidence, and feel seen. Art isn’t just creative expression here — it’s a tool for empowerment and community.
At the same time, Michelle Hammer, founder of Schizophrenic.NYC, continues to break stereotypes around schizophrenia and mental illness. Through her advocacy and storytelling, she shows that people living with mental illness can thrive, not just survive, and that their voices and talents matter.
Together, Michelle and initiatives like Hero Philanthropy prove that when philanthropy, creativity, and lived experience come together, the impact is real, lasting, and inspiring.
