Meet Michelle Hammer

I’m Michelle Hammer, a schizophrenia activist, artist, and founder of Schizophrenic.NYC. After being diagnosed with schizophrenia at 22, I decided to challenge the stereotypes surrounding mental illness through fashion, art, and honest conversations.

Through speaking engagements, media appearances, and my mental health clothing brand, I work to change how the world sees schizophrenia—one conversation at a time.
