HELLO!

Meet Michelle Hammer
I’m Michelle Hammer, a schizophrenia activist, artist, and founder of Schizophrenic.NYC. After being diagnosed with schizophrenia at 22, I decided to challenge the stereotypes surrounding mental illness through fashion, art, and honest conversations.
What started as a personal project became a movement to reduce stigma and show that people living with schizophrenia can thrive, create, and inspire others. Through speaking engagements, media appearances, and my mental health clothing brand, I work to change how the world sees schizophrenia—one conversation at a time.
